Infinity SurfCamp, nestled on Matara’s east coast, puts you right on the beach with an infinity pool boasting a killer ocean view. Sip a cold one, cheer on your crew conquering the waves (and maybe place a friendly bet on who catches the next one), all from the comfort of your poolside perch. Here’s the cherry on top: this spot’s a beach break, a rarity in Sri Lanka – most are reef breaks. It’s like having your own private Midigama to shred.

This intimate camp sleeps a cozy 20 surfers, with plans for expansion. But don’t worry, there’s still plenty of space to unwind and claim your “me time.” The heart of the camp throbs with life around a giant, comfy L-shaped couch – perfect for napping surfers and late-night story sessions. Most days will find you either chilling by the pool with your favorite book (courtesy of the well-stocked bookshelf, mostly English and German) or fueling up at the big table. Feeling the Sri Lankan heat? Dive into the refreshing pool, or grab a hammock under the shade of swaying palm trees. Feeling restless? Challenge your crew to a board game battle or unleash your inner intellect with a book.

Your stay at Infinity Camp includes two delicious meals a day: breakfast and dinner. Fuel your morning surf sessions with energizing snacks like bananas, overnight oats, fresh fruits, and energy balls. A pot of pour-over coffee is available throughout the day (though coffee connoisseurs might find it doesn’t quite measure up to international standards – good coffee can be elusive in Sri Lanka!). Breakfast offers a daily rotation of egg variations: scrambled, omelets, pancakes, accompanied by fresh fruits + fruit juice, traditional string hoppers (Sri Lankan spagetti noodles), dhal curry, cheese, and refreshing vegetables. Be warned: the legendary “flying toasts” disappear in a delicious frenzy, so act fast! Dinners, served five nights a week with a two-week menu rotation, are the true culinary stars of the camp. Thursday night special of tuna steak or mahi mahi with crispy shrimp (our personal favorites – the “Top 3 in Sri Lanka”) and well fitting barbecue sauce.
Other highlights include themed nights like tortillas, vegetarian and meat lasagna Sundays, and much more. While breakfast might be a touch predictable, the rest of the meals are undeniably top-notch. If you crave a taste of local restaurants, head out on Chef’s Nights (Tuesdays and Fridays).

Hone your skills in the near-private beach break, feeling completely at ease with international and local coaches guiding you alongside your friends. Pre- and post-lesson briefings and debriefings ensure clarity and continuous improvement. Daily video analysis allows you to visualize your technique and celebrate your progress. Beyond surfing excellence, the reception team handles all your transportation needs, from airport transfers to tuk-tuk bookings.

Craving some extra stoke?
Infinity SurfCamp has you covered. Feeling tight after that morning shred session? Sign up for a yoga class and get your body feeling loose and limber. Need to pamper those post-surf muscles? Book yourself a massage offered once a week at the camp. And if you’re feeling a bit shaggy, the occasional barber visit can keep you looking sharp (availability subject to confirmation).
But the undisputed crown jewel of the camp’s “extra services” is the weekly photo show. The in-house photography team captures all your best moments shredding the waves, creating an awesome surf photo pack just for you. The show usually happens on Thursdays and after the epic display of aerials and barrels, you’ll be given a QR code to access the full gallery. There you can browse and purchase your photo package, capturing those epic moments forever.
